"For the Benefit & Enjoyment of the People"

It is with deep regret and thru many soul-searching hours of contemplation, that I have decided to close shop and cease doing tours into Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

As much as I love meeting and conversing with others from all over the world providing memorable experiences while educating them about our national parks and photography, the events and actions over two decades by many humans, photographers, visitors and most especially Federal and State Government employees that include, Wildlife Management, Law Enforcement, WY F & G, US F & W, US Forest Service and others employed or contracted thru our national park system, has countered any level of enjoyment I previously held whenever I would visit Grand Teton National Park.

I find no pleasure entering the borders of Grand Teton National Park anymore. Every hundred feet or so I have memories of lies, deceit, screaming, yelling, targeting, threats, incompetence, selfishness, cultish behavior, bias protocol, laziness, disrespect for the law and its enforcement and its consistency, inability to understand the rules and regulations when it is your job to do so, the lying and nepotist behavior to protect oneself or protect a cohort from legal or job status ramification, the inept desire to protect the public from obvious safety hazards, the disregard with respect to turning one's back to the problem at hand refusing to solve it, and the poorly managed wildlife specifically speaking ...grizzly bear management and much more.

Because of this continuance of the worst managed national park in my observation and opinion as well as other's... many of us are simply sick to our stomachs every time we visit this park and witness the bullshit administered by those with power.

For these reasons alone, as if that wasn't enough, I have concluded it is impossible for me to enjoy myself in this national park managed by the largest collection of incompetence I have seen in my lifetime. Therefore, I find it most difficult to transfer any joy unto others when there is no more joy in it for myself.

I can no longer allow myself to partner with Grand Teton National Park because I do not trust those in power, I do not believe they are competent at the tasks at which they were hired to perform.

LEO Rangers intently target specific individuals, citing them for crimes they actually commit themselves. They lie about their investigation and force others to either go to court paying a lawyer or they pay the fine and have a mark on their record. This is not an infrequent occurrence.

Wildlife Management has been charged by grizzlies so many times (many at six feet), yet have the bogus notion to attack others for photographing bears at distances allowed by the same wildlife managers the day before and many times before.

As rangers and brigade members demean individuals in the park over and over again by calling them trouble makers, instigators and "The Problem," this is quite the most unprofessional. bias method of interacting with the public any national park provides.

Killing bears unnecessarily has become the norm as laziness and incompetence in management has proven they truly are not good at what they do. Even today, deceitfully they are attempting to place the grizzly back on the hunt protocol for selfish reasons, as they deceitfully attempted 12 years ago when a MT Fed Judge shot them down for lying to the courts and lying to the public. Yes, these agencies are once again deceitful.

Their PR Teams continues robotically, attempting to fool the public, but they are as transparent as hell.

Even my CUA application team drags me into a conference with a ranger which I consistently pleaded not to speak with one (I abhor frauds) and they gave me their take on me lying on my application with respect to one of the questions on the form I filled out. I proved to them one hundred percent wrong as the question eluded to the Appendix and proved they hadn't a clue about their own rules and regulations. They attempted to pretend they were not so inept and gave me another line of ridiculous notions over wasting my time. This is TARGETING folks. Serious abuse of power.

I am so disgusted over the methods this National Park employs. I have to separate myself from this evil behavior. It truly is mind-boggling. My father was the most honest man I knew. He would always tell me growing up, "The Truth hurts but the lies will kill you." Apparently there are many employed by this park that never had a father like mine. I can not converse with a liar. I really can't. My mind will not allow this to happen.

So I end my partnership with Grand Teton National Park based on that notion alone. I would rather stay home with my dogs, read a book, write, replace the shingles, help others in need. There is no way I am going to continue to watch liars and bias selfish people behave like they do while I am committed to provide others a grand time while observing this behavior. IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME.

That is it in a nutshell. A novel for the ages and it will be, about why humans are unable to behave, why adults exhibit juvenility and selfish want, why they lie and why the must abuse the power levied unto them...I shall never know. Absolute sin.

I am very proud of who I am and I am okay walking away from this lovely natural environment manage by such foolery. I thank my father for that courage and rationale. I can't even imagine these people rearing children to lie and to abuse others when they reach adulthood.

These are very sad times.

I wish to thank all who have toured with me. It has been a delight and my outright pleasure.

Sincerely,

Daniel Muscatell
